Beautiful You

This was the prefect day to stay inside and create this card...  I live in MN and it was RAINING in January.  Crazy!  I took the inspiration of nature and create this card with the Beautiful You Stamp set.  I used the watercolor paper and stamped the image, then masking the image with a scrap I used the aqua painter with my pool party ink refill to spatter the raindrops.  I used the aqua painter again with basic gray to add the dimension of the shadow, and her dress.  The pop of color in the umbrella brightened everything up and now it is ready to be sent off to my friend who is sick.  Get you materials for this card at www.kris.stampinup.net

Stampin' Up Mini Egg Carton

Check out the 2D project I made with the Mini Egg Cartons!  I have a friend's house warming party tomorrow and she loves succulents.  I do too, but I don't have the Oh So Succulent Bundle, yet.  When I looked at my products I noticed the Flower Medallion and Petite Petals Punches.  These made great succulents for the outside of the carton!  To add a touch of color, I used the spritzer with water and the Tangerine Tango Ink Refill to color the carton.  For the inside of the carton, I ran some Tangerine Tango and Rich Razzleberry cardstock through the shredder for "bedding", made cuttings of my succulents and added some chocolates.  I tied this project up with the Succulent Garden 3/8" Ribbon Combo, some 5/8" Burlap Ribbon, and the FREE 3/8" MetallicRibbon Combo Pack!

Dragonfly Dreams 2

I recently made this card x 25 for a card swap.  Each one was uniquely different, just like a real dragonfly.  I used the background stamp from the set and stamped with Soft Sky ink and stamped it off, on the card, twice.  I used Basic Black to stamp the detailed dragonfly and used Bermuda Bay ink to fill in the color.  To add some dimension to the wings I tipped the ends in Pacific Point.  The final touches are a Wink of Stella on the ends of the wings, a rhinestone, Stitched Bermuda Bay Ribbon, and the greeting.  Don't let this set fly away from you, get yours today!  www.kris.stampinup.net
