Stampin' Up! In Color 2015-2017 collection

Time to play with colors! Have you played with the Stampin' Up! 2015-17 In Colors? I have been reaching for them for many of my projects! Watermelon Wonder is a wonderful mix of coral and pink. Tip Top Taupe is a warm brown that will top off your cards. Delightful Dijon is a prefect mix of yellow and tan. Make your projects pop with the bright green of Cucumber Crush. Mint Macaron will add a subtle hue of green.

Garden In Bloom Vellum Luminaries

One of my mom's favorite things are luminaries, so when she saw the ones I made with my Stampin' Up supplies she was very excited. She is 85 years old and very active. She plays golf on a woman's league every Wednesday. With the season wrapping up she asked me to make 36 of them. One for each member! To make these luminary project: cut the vellum 5 1/2"X10", follow the directions on the Gift Bag Punch Board. Stamp your favorite images from the Garden in Bloom, use the snail to put it all together, add a flameless candle and close with a cute clothes pin. Contact me if you would be interested in this project a class! Go to www.Kris.Stampinup.net to order the items for this project.

Embellished Ornaments

Call me crazy but I have been thinking about Christmas in August! The temperatures have been near triple digits but I have been creating projects with my new items from the Holiday Catalog, Handmade for the Holidays. Here is a card that I made. The details in the Delicate Ornament Thinlits Dies used with the precision plate for the big shot made such clean cuts. If you think there is detail in the thinilit look at the Embellished Ornaments Stamp Set in your catalog! I am thrilled with how the red foil paper added the glimmer and dimension to the card. To frame the card I used the Boughs & Berries Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. It really tied the whole card together! Check out my Stampin' Up web page to sign up for classes, www.kris.stampinup.net.

Handmade for the Holidays at the County Fair

Greetings,

I wanted to reach out and thank those of you for stopping by my Stampin'Up! booth at the Pierce County Fair on Thursday.  I was able to hand out the new Holiday Catalog, Handmade for the Holidays. I wanted to point out a few of my favorite things in the annual and holiday catalog.  I have used the Butterfly Basics stamp set and thinlits to create cards from birthdays to sympathy (page 124).  Sheltering Tree (page 89) is versatile for any season.  A MUST have living in the Midwest!  And if I had to pick my favorite flower set it would be the Flower Patch (page 76) and the thinlits.
It doesn't get much better then the goodies in the Holiday Catalog, Homemade for the Holidays (items avail for ordering beginning
September 1)!  Skip right to the cuteness and try to resist the adorable snowman and penguin, Snow Place (page 33) and thinlits!  I'm waiting on my order to come in on Monday and hoping they don't melt ;)  Looking for some amazing trees to use all seasons?  Check out the Peaceful Pines and thinlits (Page 17).

Be sure to look at my classes for August and September and come over so we can get to know each other.  Lost the list?  No worries go to my website: www.Kris.stampinup.net and be sure to follow my blog: stampinwithkris.blogspot.com
I look forward to seeing you soon.  Please feel free to contact me with any of your project needs!
