Playful Pals Are Party Animals
This Playful little frog is excited to party with you! This set allows so many cute critters to come out and play! And don't get me started on the Pyramid Pals Thinlit set! I have made dozens of animals and filled them with treats to give to friends, co workers, and neighbors. My friend inspired me to make this card because she LOVES frogs and the color yellow! Need your own set? Go to my site and get yours today! www.kris.stampinup.net Thanks for stopping by.

Sheltering Tree
Today, I was able to spend time with a true friend. We watched a watched a great movie, The Passion, crafted, and celebrated our birthdays. We have done this for the last 25+ years! She has definitely "loves me at all times", as the stamp set, Banner Blessings states. I paired this saying with the sheltering tree. Do you like the shadow effect? It is quite simple to recreate. First, I stamped the tree in Early Espresso and then turned the stamp upside down and at a slight angle and stamped the tree at the bottom with out re-inking. This technique is called stamping off. I used the small leaves in the set and stamped them off using early espresso. I'm working on a video to go along with this blog. Stay Tuned!

Birthday Blossom
April Showers bring my favorite thing... FLOWERS! It also brings my birthday. Tonight I created a card using my favorite Stampin' Up! flower punch, Pansy and my favorite color, purple. It compliments the Birthday Blossoms set so well, don't you think? Look at the detail in the flowers and leaves. Yes, it does have a "shimmerific" accent to the petals because I used the clear Wink of Stella!
Join me on April 15th @ 4:30 PM or April 16th @ 10:30AM to create this card! RSVP @ www.kris.stampinup.net
DIY Stamping on Candles
Here is a fun way to make your candles match your decor or the season. Take any size candle you want. I have only tried this with white candles. Measure the height and circumference of the candle and cut a piece of white tissue paper. Stamp any image and any color on tissue paper. For the two candles pictured I used Blackberry Bliss and Tangerine Tango with the Gardens in Bloom stamp set and Garden green with Tempting Turquoise to accent, the dragonfly from Awesomely Artistic and the ferns in Butterfly Basics.

Specialty Fold Card
Thanks for stopping by my blog. Last month one of my classes was cards with special folds. I hand just come from a up line meeting (Meeting with other Stampin' Up! demonstrators) and learned how to make this one. It's called a Double Fold Out.

1. 4 1⁄4” x 12” cardstock base. Score on the long side at 1 5/8”, 3 1⁄4”, 8 3⁄4”, and 10 3/8”.
2. Cut strips 1 3/8” x 4” and adhere with snail to side panels.
3. Cut a 4 1/4” x 4 1⁄4” piece cardstock. Adhere a 4” x 4” piece of patterned paper to this piece.
Adhere this piece to the left side panel with Fast Fuse so that it is centered on the front of the card as
shown in the sample above.
4. Adhere a strip of 1⁄2” x 4” with snail to the front panel as shown.
5. Cut a 5 1⁄4” x 4” piece of cardstock and adhere to the inside. Adorn with a 3/8” x 5 1⁄4” strip of
patterned paper.

My class featured the Flower Flair Thinlits and Flower Patch Stamp Set, along with English Garden Designer Series Paper. All of these items are available in the Stampin' Up! annual catalog.
Rose Garden
Spring is here and my roses are starting to wake up. While I wait for their full beauty to come into full bloom, I'm going to play with the Rose Garden Thinlits. Two of my friends designed this amazing card. They used the two Whisper White roses cut from the Big Shot with the Rose Garden thinlit and wrapped them around a 4 1/4 " x 5 1/2" piece of basic black card stock.
Note how the 4" x 5 1/4" Real red frames the basic black 3 3/4" x 5" card. They used a corner rounder to soften the edges. Beautiful! Check out my card class where is and other techniques will feature this amazingly, beautiful set! www.kris.stampinup.net
