Balloon Celebration

It's Birthday month at my house.  I used the Softly Falling embossing folder to add texture to the back ground to build the balloon bouquet.   When you look closely you will see that two of the balloons are stamped in Pink Pirouette, two on vellum (use Stazon so it doesn't smear, on the sentiment too), and two with the silver glitter.  The Balloon Celebrations stamp set and Balloon Bouquet punch make this a quick and simple card to make.  Get your supplies at www.kris.stampinup.net

Gift of Love

Glorious Gladiolus!  While I am waiting for mine to bloom in the garden I didn't have to wait in my craft room.  I made them pop against the peekaboo peach paper by using the new copper embossing powder.  Then to give them the realistic look I used the aqua pen and peekaboo peach ink.  Imagine the smile on the person's face when they receive this beautiful card.  Shop for your supplies now at www.kris.stampinup.net

Jars of Love Filled with Fireflies

Fireworks and Fireflies!  Happy 4th of July!  I created this card for my Jars of Love class that I did last week.  I used the floral stamp , included in the set, to create the background and burlap ribbon  to give the card some texture.  I captured my fireflies but forgot to add the lid so some of the fireflies escaped.  The sentiment is, "You light up my life"  Prefect for my BFF.

Jars of Love (Catching a Fairy)
