Best Birds - Stamping' Up!

Isn't this card just "tweet"?  I had so much fun using the aqua painter to color this sweet little bird.  I started with a piece of Very Vanilla paper and colored with So Saffron over the entire bird, then used Tip Top Taupe around the head, and finally used some Soft Suede for the tail.  To make the soft background, so the bird would be the main focus of the card, I used the stamp set Touches of Textures. The Duet Banner punch, a Swirl from Swirly Squiggles, a wrap or two of twine and this card is ready to fly off to say, "Happy Birthday"!  To get your supplies go to www.kris.stampinup.net

Pineapple Sunshine

Hello Sunshine!  I have never been to Hawaii but have always wanted to go.  This is as close as I can get at the moment.  What do you think of this background stamp?  It is going to be a hit!  Nothing says summer like this adorable pineapple.  Pair it up with the Sunshine Wishes Thinilits. The for words, "hope, love, congrats, and sunshine" are a great pair.  Check out your options www.kris.stampinup.net

Love You Lots

This blog goes out to my BFF who just became a Grandma, to a beautiful, healthy, baby girl.  This simple but adorable set offers cute critters with sweet sayings to show how much you love someone.  There is a pair of hedgehogs and ladybugs and the frog will make anyone green with envy.  My card features the elephant and mouse.  So sweet!  www.kris.stampinup.net

Country Livin'

One of my friend's created this card for a swap.  I love the colors, textures, and details she used with the Country Livin' stamp set in this card.  It can be hard to create a good guy card, but she nailed this one!  Don't forget to get the Swirly Scribbles & Square Thinilits to make your order complete!  www.kris.stampinup.net

Wild About Flowers

I'm wild about these flowers and this card.  It is always hard to say good bye but with this card it's a little easier.  Simply use a corner rounder on mint macroon, use night of navy ink, and add your favorite designers series paper and you have a card to express your sentiments.  Get all the supplies you need at www.kris.stampinup.net

Balloon Celebration

It's Birthday month at my house.  I used the Softly Falling embossing folder to add texture to the back ground to build the balloon bouquet.   When you look closely you will see that two of the balloons are stamped in Pink Pirouette, two on vellum (use Stazon so it doesn't smear, on the sentiment too), and two with the silver glitter.  The Balloon Celebrations stamp set and Balloon Bouquet punch make this a quick and simple card to make.  Get your supplies at www.kris.stampinup.net

Gift of Love

Glorious Gladiolus!  While I am waiting for mine to bloom in the garden I didn't have to wait in my craft room.  I made them pop against the peekaboo peach paper by using the new copper embossing powder.  Then to give them the realistic look I used the aqua pen and peekaboo peach ink.  Imagine the smile on the person's face when they receive this beautiful card.  Shop for your supplies now at www.kris.stampinup.net
