Painted Eclipse

I asked my sister what word she lived by.  This is what she said...

I used Stampin' Up! Very Vanilla paper,

Painted Harvest Photopolymer Stamp Set , Powder Pink and Rich Razzleberry and stamped on the background.  Then using the Large Letters Framelits Dies I placed out the word BELIEVE.  To make sure the letters didn't move I placed a little Washi tape on the dies.  Pop the letters out and turn them over.  Now the magic begins.  I chose a piece of Berry Burstpaper for the background. This will add to the eclipse look under the letters.  Using FOAM ADHESIVE STRIPS pop up the cut out letters to put right back into the main paper. Eclipse Your Life Word

What is a word that you live by? That carries you through the good and the bad times? I asked my sister and this is her word... little does she know that I created her word for her! Stay tuned. Mine is in the works!

All Framed Up!

Is it Fall?  It is hard to tell here in MN.  We have been in the high80's to the low 90's.  That didn't stop me from making a fall sampler.  I found a 9x9 shadow box frame at IKEA.  I filled it with 9 squares that represent fall.    The background paper is cut at 9"x9" the mat is 8 1/2"x8 1/2".  The squares are matted on 2 1/2" x 2 1/2" and the very vanilla squares are 2 1/4"x2 1/4".  Here is a list of the stamps I used:

Daisy Delight with Gingham Ribbon

I don't know what I'm more in love with the NIGHT OF NAVY 1/2" GINGHAM RIBBON or the DAISY DELIGHT PHOTOPOLYMER BUNDLE!  I used the daisy to make my own background paper in Night of Navy.  To create the daisy i stamped tone on tone with Night of Navy paper and ink.  To finish this card I used the CLEAR FACETED GEMS.  I choose to leave off a sentiment so I could use the card for any one or any occasion.  This set is full of possibilities!  Get your bundle today!  www.kris.stampinup.net

Hogs & Kisses Treat Bag

I had a play date set up with my friend's daughter and wanted to bring her a little something.  The MINI TREAT BAG THINLITS DIES with a circle STITCHED SHAPES FRAMELITS DIES as a window, covered in kisses and hearts is a perfect bag to hold some "Hogs (Hugs) & Kisses".  So you see the hearts along the bottom? They are included in the Mini Treat Bag dies.  I added some BASICS PACK 1 WASHI TAPE because they are the prefect pink to match the Powder Pink paper and the piggy. THIS LITTLE PIGGY CLEAR-MOUNT STAMP SET has the sweet little piggy to complete this treat.  I filled the bag to the brim with Hersey Hugs & Kisses chocolate and I was ready to go.  You can make this project too by going to www.kris.stampinup.net

Pretty Kitty Stamp Set

This card was inspired by my own Kitties, Thompson, Max ,and Elvira   Aren't they cute?  I love that there are so many color choices in the NEUTRALS STAMPIN' WRITE MARKERS to use on the PRETTY KITTY CLEAR-MOUNT STAMP SET.  Be sure that your kittens stay in the WOOD CRATE FRAMELITS DIES.  I set the scene outside by using the PATTERN PARTY DECORATIVE MASKS bricks and the EMBOSSING PASTE.  I mixed a drop of SOFT SUEDE CLASSIC STAMPIN' INK REFILL on the SILICONE CRAFT SHEET with the PALETTE KNIVES make it so easy to move the embossing paste around.  Adopt your items for your craft room today!  Go to www.kris.stampinup.net

Happiest of Days

HAPPIEST OF DAYS CLEAR-MOUNT STAMP SET has the sweetest set of presents.  I stamped them across a 2 1/2"x 51/4" piece is white card stock 3 times and then colored them in Soft Sky and Smoky Slate makers.  I think it matched the BUNDLE OF LOVE SPECIALTY DESIGNER SERIES PAPER perfectly.  To add some shimmer and shine I heat embossed the leaves from the Happiest of Days set in silver and added a 1/4" of silver pair on the top and the bottom.  Think of how many color combination you could make with is template!  Happy stamping!  www.kris.stampinup.net
